Development Titles

I’ve written about this before.

For contacts beyond your organization, I believe titles are important to the outside world. They provide status and help open doors.

I’ve just recorded three I prefer to the most often used: Director of Planned Gifts.

And I’m still a champion of Vice President for Philanthropy-— instead of Vice President for Development (or Advancement).
