What Others Say About ICG Seminars

“The Major Gift Roundtable Seminar surpassed all of my expectations. The experience provided me with useful skills and an opportunity for self-evaluation that renewed my passion for fundraising. The faculty present were energetic and accessible; they provided insights from a variety of areas of expertise including major gifts, volunteer management, events, annual fund, and communications. It was an incredibly valuable session that I would recommend to anyone in the profession.”
— Nadia Wendowsky, Associate Director of Development, Université McGill University

“Major Gift Roundtable is like no other conference you’ve attended. The faculty assembled represents leaders in the industry. You’ll walk away from this conference a better leader.”
— Mitchell P. Blonde, CFRE, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs / Chief Advancement Officer at Tiffin University

"Jerry Panas and his team at the Institute for Charitable Giving will transform your fundraising results. The Institute's insights will give every member of your organization greater knowledge and confidence to accomplish your mission. We require all new development officers to be trained by the Institute.

By following Panas' teaching, we uncovered the Rosetta Stone of our supporters. We deciphered what our supporters wanted to accomplish and how we could best assist them in their goals. We raised tens of millions of dollars more for our mission than we ever thought possible. We could not have saved President Reagan's Presidential Home, his Rancho del Cielo, and added the infrastructure it required without first being participants at the Institute Seminars.

The Panas approach is so understandable, and possible to implement, that we readily recruit young Americans into development careers because we know they can succeed. The Institute will meet your every expectation of what a world-class training program can be!"

– Ron Robinson, President, Young America's Foundation

"The Institute for Charitable Giving was one of the most rewarding seminars I have attended, in regards to personal attention, participation, and professional application.
I was amazed at the high quality and top level professional experience of the speakers and group leaders, not to mention the varied and invaluable experiences they shared. I was also inspired by the wide range of charitable institutions participating, offering different and varied perspectives and insight.

Jerry Panas’ experience and reputation are not only unparalleled, he has enhanced his own teaching techniques by recruiting some of the most talented and successful fundraisers in the country to volunteer their time, in support of their commitment to the fundraising profession.

You could attend this Seminar multiple times and every time would be rewarding and a completely different experience, based on their commitment to keeping the material fresh and the participants relevant to current day issues and concerns. You would be hard pressed to find a more rewarding experience, as a professional fundraiser."

– Terry Heilman Sylvester, Major Gift Officer, University of Richmond

“Jerry Panas is a remarkable fundraiser and shares his knowledge and experiences through the Institute for Charitable Giving Seminars. I was fortunate to attend Seize the Opportunity, Major Gift Roundtable, and Designing a Successful Capital Campaign. It is said when professionals attend seminars and conferences they find them successful if they learn one good idea. While attending Jerry’s seminars, the knowledge and ideas I took are immeasurable!
I met Jerry many years ago at the National Catholic Development Conference.  Jerry was presenting on major gifts. I was working on a major gift campaign at the time. After hearing him speak and implementing his methods, I began to reach new levels in my skills. I was hooked on major gifts!  From that point I knew I wanted to learn more and grow as a major gift professional.

The Institute for Charitable Giving Seminars are well run. The speakers are true professionals with vast experiences and are eager to share them. In addition to the wealth of information I took away, I was recharged and energized!  I look forward to taking my fourth seminar!”
— Nikki Soteropoulos Margarites, Ronald McDonald House, New York City

"The ICG Seminars have changed my life and the way I do my work.
It inspires me to know that what I do for my school and the kids that I work with gives them the opportunities they need to be successful and make a positive impact in the world.

The Seminars are helpful and practical. I tell everyone I know in the Advancement and Development industry there is no better training then is provided by ICG, Jerold Panas, Bill Sturtevant, and their team. I came away with tips that I put into practice as soon as I returned to my office and goals that will set a strong foundation for my institution. Should you go? Don’t wait!"

– Larry Chinn, Dalat International School, Penang, Malaysia
